Elliot weiss

Bassist

He started playing bass around the age of 15. His father was a bassist, and he refused to buy him drums, so he picked up one of his basses and never looked back. He joined a band with a few guys from school and instantly fell in love with playing in and band.

Over the years he's played in few different bands and loved every minute of it, but none of them ever took off beyond playing in the local scene. He joined Life After Last originally back in 2018.  Growing up amidst personal struggles with mental health, music became more than just a hobby—it became a lifeline, offering solace and a means to express emotions in a positive light. Nick’s musical journey was influenced by a diverse range of artists, from the raw energy of “Linkin Park” and “A Day to Remember” to the modern heaviness of bands like "Alpha Wolf,"  "Wage War," and "Like Moths to Flames." In the New England music scene, Nick made waves as a member of the band “Hidden Figures,” collaborating with esteemed figures such as Ryan Kirby of "Fit for a King" and Ricky Armellino of "Ice Nine Kills."

However, as the journey with “Hidden Figures” came to an end, Nick embarked on a solo venture, determined to carve out his own path. Fueled by a desire for self-discovery and creative expression, Nick poured his heart and soul into new material, culminating in the project known as “IVWIW.”
